On the 26th May children in years 3-6 travelled to Hay on Wye to the annual Book Festival. Whilst there, the children listened to Rich Knight, author of If I ran the country, Jenny Valentine, author of A girl called Joy and Roma Agrawal, author of How was that built? talk about their experiences of writing books, why they write them and how this happens. The children participated in a question-and-answer session with Jenny Valentine and visited the book shop to meet the authors in person.
